a few words about

Damjan Gjorgievski

Fantasy World Building

Born and raised in a small mountain town, Kriva Palanka, in Macedonia. Later on moved to Skopje, where I pursued art as a career, since I realized for most of my life, I have been drawing. I studied Traditional Printmaking at High School for Applied Arts ‘Lazar Licenoski’; and continued with art at the Faculty for Fine Arts, under University of Cyril and Methodius. In both, I was awarded “the best student of the generation”. During my career, I’ve taken part in international group exhibitions and contests, among which I can note Engravist, where I was an instructor; the Balkan Bienal for Small Prints in Bosnia; International Small Print Show in Egypt; Balkanska Strip Smotra – Leskovac, where I was awarded with “illustrator of the year” prize, etc. Besides, I’ve also worked in games industry as an art lead and illustrator, contributed to a few projects reaching international success, like Genesis – Battle of Champions and God’s Unchained. My latest pursuit is to make my own art book.
